One thing that has worked really well for me is intermittent fasting. You pick a specific time to stop eating for the day then do not eat until a specific time the next day. I use 6 pm to 10 am. When your body is fasting you produce ketones which help for fat burning. It's also good for your body because your insulin isn't constantly going up and down.
